Adam Harper
Adam Harper was born in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, where he later worked at Pratt Industries, “harvesting the urban environment”. A proud father to his daughter Aelwyn, Adam’s life took a dramatic turn in 2016 when he sustained a traumatic brain injury (TBI).
This became a defining moment, leading him to surrender his life to Christ and igniting a multi-year journey of pruning and refining his faith and character. After neglecting emotional healing during his recovery, he moved to Nashville, seeking renewal. There, he joined a mental health group at Brentwood Baptist Church, where he met Joey Lankford. Adam found inspiration working alongside Jimmy Hobbs at Project Connect, admiring his dedication.
In 2021, during a small group, Kyle Leech called Adam to Cul2vate with a vision to grow peanuts and a dream of launching a boiled peanut truck at a local market. Adam quickly fell in love with Cul2vate’s mission to feed the hungry and cultivate hope, finding his place in its purpose-driven community. On July 4, 2023, he married Ashley Hunt in Nashville, Tennessee, and their family grew with the birth of their son, AJ, on August 13, 2024.
Today, as Cul2vate’s Harvest Director, Adam finds his purpose fulfilled through distributing not only the farm’s produce but also its mission and values, sharing hope and nourishment with every seed and story.
